The Richest Qualifier Event ever held in Australia certainly lived up to the hype !!
Here are some numbers from the BIG 100 weekend.
- Over 2300 players sat across all events
- 1440 players sat in the BIG 100 heats on Saturday
- Over 160k paid out in prizes over the weekend
- 10 players winning entry to our ONE MILLION DOLLAR GUARANTEED event in March
- One player winning our TEAM WSOP package to Vegas next year
It was BIG !
Arthuro Clemente was our eventual winner after two gruelling days of play and Arthuro hails from the poker stronghold of Mackay. These guys from up north always seem to do well in the big events.
Arthuro collected a total of $25k in cash and prizes and although he did not have much to say you could sense the excitement coming from him. He was buzzing and a sneaky tear was seen running from Licensee Allan McLauchlans eyes when he realised one of his North Queensland crew had done it !
A total of 48 players cashed in the BIG 100 and every region in Queensland and Northern NSW was represented from as far north as Townsville, west to Mount Isa and as far south as Coffs Harbour.
A massive congratulations goes out to our final table players who showed great sportsmanship when getting knocked out and to a tee shook everyone elses hands and wished the rest of the players luck when they got eliminated.

Poker players are always looking to improve their game and the top six players above now have an opportunity to do this as they also collected the following:
- Entry to the Jackie Glazier Academy to be held at South Tweed Sports on November 11th
- Entry to our 50k Guaranteed event to be held at South Tweed Sports on November 12th.
Our very own WSOP Bracelet winner Jackie Glazier will share her knowledge with some lucky 888PL and APL players in a one day workshop on November 11th – this is an amazing opportunity to learn from one the best in the game.
They will then back up the following day at our 50k guaranteed event hoping to put that knowledge to work!
The final table will also be attending our APL MILLION event to be held at The Star in Sydney in March with ONE MILLION DOLLARS GUARANTEED!
